Some of our favorite prerolls come from this unique partnership between Oregon-grown cannabis farms, important humanitarian services, and a local Portland artist. Fire & Jane represents one of those lightning-in-a-bottle moments of this uniquely Oregonian fusion between art, culture, and cannabis.
For a limited time, Fire & Jane produces delightful five-pack prerolls of Urban Pharms cannabis consisting of a variety of strains that all produce different but still potent effects. Each of these pre-roll packs comes with a sealed hardshell joint case that’s reusable and recyclable with individual compartments for each joint. There’s so much waste involved in consumer cannabis, from plastic containers to the atomizers in vaporizer cartridges, but everything in a Fire & Jane pack can either be recycled or toked, and that’s a beautiful thing. To reduce litter, there’s even a little sealed roach compartment on the bottom that can store all the butts the pack produces, which is a level of thoughtfulness we haven’t seen many other places.
Each hard pack features exclusive artwork from Portland street artist Wokeface, whose mission is to facilitate self-love and a sense of connectedness so we can all enjoy a more compassionate and harmonious existence with each other. These custom creations celebrate nature, humanity, and the psychedelic history of cannabis’s role in popular culture.
Fire & Jane is also serious about giving back to the community, something we aspire to do as well at Pot Mates. Every purchase of a Fire & Jane pack contributes 50¢ to one of three different charities. The Trevor Project is on a mission to end suicide among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning young people by offering crisis services, peer support, and public education. Similarly, the Sunrise Movement is a youth movement dedicated to stopping climate change by making it an urgent priority for Americans, ending the corrupting influence of the fossil fuel industry, and electing leaders who will stand up for the health and wellbeing of all people. Then there’s Campaign Zero a solutions-based group dedicated to creating a world where the police don’t kill people by limiting police interventions, improving community interactions, and ensuring accountability.
We think cannabis can be a force of good in this world, and Fire & Jane is a good example of how to do that.
