WYLD is the country’s largest edibles brand, and it was founded right here in Oregon. Both founders, Aaron Morris and Chris Joseph, were born in the Pacific Northwest, so they know the bountiful variety of fruits and flavors offered by the Willamette Valley. They founded their first company, Wild Roots, on fruit-infused vodka before discovering an opportunity with cannabis.
Originally, WYLD was preoccupied with creating CBD-infused edibles, and they were one of the first companies to insist that it be done as safely and cleanly as possible, before there were any governmental standards for how to do so. They worked with a team of food scientists to source their broad-spectrum CBD oil to ensure it was 100% derived from the cannabis plant, wasn’t laced with anything, and was free from additives. When it came to creating their iconic enhanced gummies, they knew they wanted to preserve the flavors and the culture of the Pacific Northwest by using real-fruit ingredients and flavors.
Their first priority is making a juicy and delectable fruit chew, then they infuse it with cannabis extract that has a custom terpene profile to augment the flavor and enhance the experience. WYLD values high quality and consistency, so they obsess over every detail of the production process to ensure that everything comes out just right. The result is a delectable line of edibles that pair nicely with the best that the Northwest has to offer.
One other thing we love about WYLD is their commitment to their community, and to the land that we all share. Most recently, they have teamed up with Friends of Trees, which is an organization that has planted over 800,000 trees and native plants since its founding in 1989. You can even get a tree for yourself to start contributing to your own green space!
