Most people like to use Rick Simpson Oil for pain relief. It’s easy and discreet, something you can either take directly under your tongue or mixed into a warm beverage like coffee. The recommended starting dose is about half the size of a grain of rice, but experienced users find one to two grains is more effective.
Nigerian is a little bit different. While most RSO is made from potent indica strains that maximize that sedative, narcotic effect, Nigerian is almost a pure sativa strain. It’ll still chill you out and offer all-day relief from whatever ails you, but with a strong showing from α-pinene, it leaves you clear-headed enough to still tackle the stuff you need to get done.
Traditionally, RSO is taken three times a day to maximize its therapeutic potential, but at a grain of rice or less, that ends up being less than a gram in a day. Rick Simpson (for whom the oil is named) also found it helpful to massage the oil into his skin where it can bind with local CB2 receptors for maximum relief.
